ISO CERTIFICATION

The Arkansas Lighthouse for the Blind passed its Re-Certification audit on its ISO 9001:2008 quality systems in February of 2013 including Certifying our new Contact Center. Amtec, the registration firm, conducted a quality audit on all of the Arkansas Lighthouse operations processes.

Back in April of 2010 the Lighthouse received ISO certification the first time it was sought by the nonprofit. ALB’s ISO Certification Committee worked for six months to ensure they met the stringent criteria for certification and the ISO audit revealed no issues of noncompliance.

ISO, the world's largest developer and publisher of International Standards, is a network of the national standards institutes of some 159 countries.
